Golf course architect extraordinaire, Dan Maples, thought of every detail when he designed the courses at Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club. In addition to utilizing the lay of the land, Maples also took extra measures to ensure that there was an adequate drainage system for periods of heavy rain. Throughout the golf club, golfers will find rolling fairways, exquisite sand bunkers, and well-maintained MiniVerde greens. With over 40 acres of ponds and lakes on the grounds of Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club, accuracy may be the key to a great score. When coming from Myrtle Beach, drive straight through Calabash and the first stoplight on Highway 179. Continue approximately 1/2 mile to the next intersection that has a stoplight. Go straight ahead onto Old Georgetown Road. Sandpiper Bay Golf and Country Club is on the left about two miles ahead.  Get Driving directions to: 800 N. Sandpiper Club Drive SW View Sandpiper Bay Golf and Country Club with Google Earth.
